Tuesday night isn’t just a regular night at the Prudential Center in New Jersey as the Devils are hosting a 90s Night for their tilt against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Some teams tend to put a little more effort into their special theme nights and the Devils are one of those teams. From recreating throwback music videos and quizzing players on hits from the 1990s, to a special promotional video including some of the greatest things from the decade, the team did not disappoint.
They didn’t just take care of fans on social media, though, they also took care of the fans who made it out to the game as they brought in a special guest for the evening.
Actor Patrick Warburton, also known as die hard Devils fan David Puddy on Seinfeld, was on hand to get the guys pumped up for the divisional battle as they made their way onto the ice, before joining them for the ceremonial faceoff at centre ice.
After dropping the puck, Warburton did what he does best and showed as much support for the team as possible before exiting the ice.
Not only did fans get to witness the one and only David Puddy drop the puck and get the players and crowd fired up, they also received a David Puddy bobblehead as part of the special night.
