Why fans still decide to run onto the field of play at any sporting event is beyond us, but it happens. It’s very rare for that person to escape untouched or without receiving some sort of ban or fine and once you trespass you’re not going to have a good time, but they still do it.
During a recent Champions League match between Chelsea and Juventus, a fan decided to run onto the pitch near the closing stages of the game and Chelsea striker Sam Kerr decided to take care of business.
The boos from the fans that were for the fan on the pitch quickly turned to cheers for Kerr, but what’s wild about it all is the fact that Kerr received a yellow card for taking out the fan.
If you’re going to get a yellow card that might be the best way to get it.
