Things were looking good for the New York Jets early on this season as they found themselves owning a 3-3 record through Week 6. However, down the road things got a little ugly as they went on to win just one of their next eight games. Despite owning a 4-11 record, some Jets fans are feeling a little optimistic about the future thanks to their rookie quarterback Sam Darnold.
Recently, the 21-year-old teamed up with Bleacher Report and went undercover as a mall Santa and it made for a fantastic skit as he had all the young kids totally surprised when he revealed his true identity.

Darnold got asked for more Saquon Barkley jerseys than he would have liked, but what can you expect after the rookie campaign the Giants running back has put together. However, that didn’t make Darnold break character as he went along with every child’s request before he started throwing passes to them in the mall hallway.
