Saints star WR Michael Thomas discusses his relationship with his name twin on Kickoff With Cabbie

The football season is QUICKLY approaching as teams have begun finalizing their rosters, making the appropriate cuts, and gearing up for the regular season. In preparation for the new NFL season, our man Cabbie is on the road making sure some NFL stars are just as ready for the year as we are.

In the first edition of Kickoff With Cabbie, New Orleans Saints star wide receiver Michael Thomas joins the segment to discuss a couple burning questions to do with his name. First off, Cabbie had to find out about the relationship he has with his name twin, New York Giants Pro-Bowl DB named Michael Thomas (if you couldn’t guess).

Of course, Thomas isn’t the only one to share a name in the world of athletics. When it comes down to identifiers, the Saints star had no problem taking “command”.

While it is definitely confusing to share a name with someone competing in the same sport, it sounds like it’s the Giants’ Thomas that has to worry more about being mistaken.
