Just minutes after being the No. 1 pick in the 2020 WNBA draft by New York Liberty, Sabrina Ionescu signs an exclusive multi-year deal with Nike on Friday.
Ionescu was also being pitched by competing brands Under Armour and Puma.
Not even the legend himself could sway Sabrina's decision to sign with Nike despite her close relationship with Golden State Warriors Steph Curry, who texted Ionescu almost every day pushing her to sign with the Under Armour family.
The next big question is the possibility of Ionescu having a signature shoe, which no WNBA player currently has. However, it is something that is anticipated by her fans and supporters.
Sabrina has ton's of support which is amazing to see.
