And just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse over in Buffalo…

The Sabres dropped their ninth in a row on Thursday night and saw their record drop to 6-15-4 in the process. Yup, the organization is almost at an all-time low and it’s become clear that that the fans are flat-out sick of the poor play. Need some hard evidence?

Okay!

The Sabres are set to invite nearly 2,000 fans to their home game against the Bruins on March 20 and season ticket-holders were given first dibs. There was just one problem… they couldn’t even find enough of them to buy tickets to the game. Pretty clear message from the fans being sent here…

Yikes. Yikes, yikes, YIKES. So you’re saying fans can finally attend games again… watch a world class talent like Jack Eichel in action, not to mention Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak. The organization at least thinks it’s worth the price of admission, even more actually. According to a fans, their ticket is going for much higher than its normal value.

Guess the Sabres gotta do what they gotta do to make up for not having fans in the stands all season, just tough when your team is playing so poorly. It’s going to be interesting to see how fans react if Buffalo goes down early… could get ugly. Time to pick it up fellas!
