If you’re swinging through Las Vegas any time soon, then you could have the chance to try a craft beer launched by an NHL player — and just maybe, that player will be the one serving it to you.

On Thursday, Ryan Reaves launched the first craft beer from his own 7Five Brewing company, the “Training Day,” at PKWY Tavern in Las Vegas. After playing in a 2-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche, he even stopped by the tavern to pour a few out for fans himself.

For at least one Twitter user, this was a prime opportunity to get a joke off.

Although the rivalry between Reaves and Tom Wilson was escalated in their most recent meeting, the Golden Knights grinder — who has become something of a fan favourite for his expressive personality — did renege on his decision to sign photos of his hit on Wilson, after deciding it was in poor taste.
