Right now, even though most things are still pretty weird, we’re all feeling wildly relieved that we can watch sports again to make it through the weird times.

Sports are back, and though they look a little bit different than what we’re used to, they’re still the games we know and love.

To most people’s surprise and delight, most players look to be just as sharp as where they left off. The pause that athletes just experienced was unlike any regular off-season, and lots of the regular facilities and resources that athletes usually use to keep in compete-ready shape were unavailable to them.

In light of that, players had to get pretty creative, and some of the workouts they were using to stay in shape looked even more grueling than a regular gym workout.

It’s no surprise that last year’s Conn Smythe showed up to the bubble ready to play, and Ryan O’Reilly and his dad Brian looked like they got really creative with their quarantine fitness. The result looks a whole lot like a mix of hockey and gymnastics, and not at all like anything we could pull off ourselves.

Yup, no surprise he looked ready to go for the season’s restart!

The Blues are back in action on Thursday, and we hope to see some of these moves then.
