DK Metcalf stole a lot of headlines entering the 2019 NFL Draft because of how incredibly fit he is, but he ended up slipping to the end of the 2nd round where he was selected 64th overall by the Seattle Seahawks.
Metcalf was expected to be one of the first few wide receivers off the board, but he ended up being the 9th one taken in the draft. However, it’s all about what you do after the draft and the 21-year-old let his play on the field do the talking as he finished 2nd among rookies in yards (900) and touchdowns (7), and finished tied for 2nd in receptions (58).
With his sophomore season coming up, the Mississippi product looks to come back even better this year and he’s been putting in work as of late with his quarterback Russell Wilson.
If you thought Metcalf was impressive during his rookie season just wait to see what he has in store for his sophomore season, because if last year was just a preview he’s in for another big year.
Seahawks fans have got to love seeing that on their timeline.
