Russell Westbrook is well respected around the NBA. His peers know him as one of the most fierce competitors they have played against, and there’s a clear reason.
Westbrook is also one of the most compassionate players in the league as he’s done incredible things through his Why Not? Foundation.
He’s donated laptops to children, given money to Houston storm relief, and is just an all-around good person.
This is further shown through a story from WNBA star Elena Delle-Donne, who went through rehab after she had back surgery on a herniated disk. She said Westbrook would come early on game days just to rebound for her as she recovered.
