Every MMA fighter knows they should expect the unexpected, but in the heat of the battle, there's only so much one can do.
You don't often see tornado kicks attempted inside the ring or octagon, let alone land.
But at a kickboxing event in Bucharest, Romania on Friday, Romanian kickboxer Eduard Gafencu landed one of the wildest knockouts you'll ever see on Thomas Doeve, courtesy of a tornado kick.
Oof.
You can see that Doeve had no idea it was coming, as he put his guard up while being backed into the corner of the ring.
Doeve had to be immediately helped by the ref after losing consciousness from the devasting blow in the Colosseum Tournament 81-kg belt.
