If you go back through the annals of NFL history, one Lombardi Trophy will stand out from the rest.

Literally, the 2019 Lombardi Trophy has a dent on its head, and that comes from the post-Super Bowl antics of its winners, the New England Patriots.

Rob Gronkowski, who we all know to be a rowdy individual, has gotten the blame for the dent because of a video that went out of himself attempting to bunt with the trophy. However, in a new tell-all on his TikTok, Gronk explains the real culprit — Julian Edelman, who threw the pitch that dented the trophy.

You know what? Once you’ve won the Super Bowl, aren’t you entitled to put a few miles of life experience on the Lombardi? It’s hard to celebrate when you’re treating the party like a china shop.

Things could’ve gone a lot worse, anyway. They almost did, when Tom Brady literally decided to toss this year’s Lombardi Trophy from one boat to another.
