One night after the Penguins won the Stanley Cup, the Warriors captured their second NBA title in three years, capping off an incredible season.
Obviously the Kevin Durant hate from some fans will increase after the win, but we think the majority of fans would agree that if the Warriors hadn't gone out and signed KD, they probably wouldn't have won the title so easily, if at all.
Durant was dynamite from the minute the Finals began in Golden State and Rihanna, who's a big fan of LeBron James, had a front row seat to witness his dominance in Game 1.
Despite her best efforts to heckle KD, it didn't work and his incredible Finals helped the Warriors defeat James and the Cavs.
After the game, Rihanna posted an iconic scene from the 'Lion King' which starred LeBron, Durant and her.

Based on what James had to say after the loss, the King will be back and living for a long time.
For now, though, James and Rihanna have to live with the pain of defeat until what very likely will be the fourth Finals meeting between these two teams next summer.
Plus, although Durant didn't have anything to say about Rihanna when he was asked about her during the Finals, he did have a message for her once he was crowned a champion.
