An IIHF World Championship pre-tournament game is the perfect time to show off a cheeky shootout move.

Arizona Coyotes forward Richard Panik did just that and pulled off one of the filthiest moves we've seen in quite some time.

Skating for Team Slovakia against Team Norway in the European Hockey Challenge, the 12-team tournament that precedes the IIHF World Championships featuring the best European hockey teams, Panik scored a ridiculous goal that could be a trend-setter in hockey.

Skating in one-on-one, Panik flipped his stick around and shot it five-hole for a goal using the backhand side of his toe in spectacular fashion.

That is one ballsy move by Panik considering the margin for error is pretty big and Panik could've easily looked pretty foolish.

The Norwegian goaltender dropped down into the butterfly by instinct, but the velocity Panik got on the shot with the toe was too strong.

Panik, along with NHLers Andrej Sekera, Martin Marincin, Marko Dano, Erik Cernak, Christian Jaros and Tomas Tatar, will suit up for Slovakia in Group A action where they'll draw Canada, U.S.A., Finland, Germany, Denmark, France and Great Britain.
