As a 17-year veteran of the NBA, Richard Jefferson is pretty well-respected around the league, especially as he’s moved into a broadcasting career following his playing days.

Clearly, he’s not above a practical joke, though. During a post-game interview with Jamal Murray, Jefferson got a little feisty with the Canadian. “Don’t you dare yes-sir me ever again,” he said.

Murray’s reaction is priceless, and it doesn’t look like he’s aware who he’s speaking to from the broadcast side, which makes it so much better.

At the end of the video, he cracks a smile, so we’re sure everything’s all good between these two. You know, let’s go out on a limb and say that most broadcasters can’t get away with this, but being a former player comes with certain privileges... like being able to mess with Jamal Murray.
