Ric Flair is closing in on 70 years of age coming it at the "nice" number of 69, and out of all his career accomplishments in the wrestling world, the fact that he has a rap song named after him while being the highlight of the music video might be his biggest accomplishment to date.
The song “Rick Flair Drip is a song off the collaboration album between 21 Savage, Migos’ Offset and popular hip hop producer Metro Boomin. Over the years, there’s been countless songs that pay homage or reference Flair, but nothing quite like having a whole song dedicated to the Nature Boy and then having him make an appearance in the video.
The man labeled the dirtiest player in the game gets down right and dirty in the video yelling out his signature “WOO!”
This wasn’t the first time Flair had made an appearance in a music video. In December, he made a cameo in a song called “Chambea” done by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny.
For a celebrity that has made a career celebrating his lavish lifestyle and sex appeal for over 40 years now, there’s not too many people out there that can spice up a rap video with the Migos gang and fit right in just like Flair can. After all, there's a reason why he's always stylin' and profilin'.
Back in September, Flair was sent to emergency unit at a hospital because of kidney failure and was forced into a medically induced coma prior to having surgery. It's good to see The Nature Boy is back movin' and groovin' despite the health concerns. His battles with alcohol was well publicized in a recent ESPN 30 for 30 episode.
