It sure seems like Tom Brady is having more fun than Bill Belichick this season.

Tom, who’s playing outside of New England for the first time since entering the league more than 20 years ago, has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (or Tompa Bay?) at the top of the NFC South and has statistically been one of the better QBs in the league… at 43! Meanwhile in the AFC East, Bill Belichick’s squad is 2-5 and will likely miss the playoffs for the first time since 2008… the year Tom Brady tore his ACL and was replaced by Matt Cassel.

Former New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is all-too familiar with Bill, and is probably licking his chops at the site of his former rival struggling in the division they shared for so long. During an appearance on ESPN, Ryan made sure to point out that the quarterback, not the head coach, was the most important piece of the Patriots’ dynasty.

The New York Jets may be the worst team in the NFL right now but at least they can get a bit of satisfaction out of seeing this? Clearly not everyone agreed…

In fairness to Bill, numerous defensive starters including Dont'a Hightower opted out due to conrcerns over COVID-19, not to mention the head coach also admitted the team sold out so they could capture their past three Super Bowls. So with the Pats now struggling… could they actually get Trevor Lawrence? New York Jets great Keyshawn Johnson doesn’t seem to think his former squad will move on from Sam Darnold.

We’ll have to wait and see who gets the first overall pick but if Belichick happens to get him… look out NFL!!!!
