Free agent Kevin Knox has signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, sources confirmed to ESPN. He will compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Last season, Knox averaged 7.2 points and 2.4 rebounds for the Detroit Pistons. He also put up 17.5 points and 8.5 points for the Warriors during summer league.

The 6-foot-7 forward, who played at Kentucky, was drafted by the New York Knicks in 2018 with the ninth overall pick but never found his momentum there, being traded to the Atlanta Hawks midway through the 2021-22 season.

Golden State has 14 standard contracts, meaning it has one spot left.
