The New York Islanders will have a new home for the 2021-2022 season and fans already have an idea of what it will look like.
Over the past week, the Isles released new renderings of their upcoming Belmont Park Arena, and it looks beautiful! From the wooden detailing to the historic photos on the wall, this barn should receive plenty of love from Isles fans.
Those back-to-back-to-back-back banners look pretty nice and visible!
According to Eyes on Isles, the team also included a few key details about the arena:
- Two outdoor terraces open for everyone
- Eight (eight!) bars with a direct view of the ice.
- More restrooms per person than any other arena in the metro area
- LIRR station and plenty of parking
More restrooms per person than any other arena in the Metro Arena? Let's Go!
Belmont Park Arena is set to cost the Islanders $1.3 billion and will finally give them a new permanent home after splitting time between Nassau Coliseum in Long Island and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. In the meantime, the team will focus on its play-in series against the Florida Panthers.
