Oh, April Fools Day, simultaneously the best and worst day of the month... depending on which side of it you're on.
Some people get super creative and others get downright evil. It's basically a day of semi-believable fake news that really gets your blood pressure going or pranks that are wildly entertaining to watch.
In honour of April Fools day, we're going to look at some of the best pranks in hockey in the last few years.
Coming it hot, we have to start with the guy who got absolutely wrecked not once, not twice but seven times in one game.
BarDown's own Jesse Pollock.
The team decided that they were going to find seven different ways to prank Jesse and honestly, you have to feel for him, some of these were bad - hot sauce water right to the back of the throat?! Some lasted far beyond the one day, Jesse had glitter in his hair for months.
Ryan Reaves Halloween prank on Phil Kessel.
Ryan Reaves scared the living daylights out of Kessel during a road trip, making sure to hide in the hotel room with a terrifying mask. Poor Phil, probably had nightmares for months after this but his reaction is what makes this all TOO good, it had to make the list.
Phil Kessel's DIY locker.
Phil on this list twice is kind of hilarious, he must be really easy to prank or he's the prankster that everyone is always getting back.
This one does seem like payback for chirping Malkin's makeshift stall on Instagram(https://www.bardown.com/phil-kessel-mocked-evgeni-malkin-on-twitter-with-a-picture-of-his-locker-1.717003), so the team decided to give Kessel one of his own... in the weight room.
Fleury, one of the NHL's biggest pranksters.
Fleury is always trying to mess with people. Here's some of his best work caught on camera.
Somehow he got into the Penguins dressing room and tied up his old teammates Crosby and Gino's sleeves.
Fleury also played the ol' fashioned screwing the lid off the bottles and it actually worked.
What pranks were your favourite?
