All professional athletes have to accept that at some point or another, they're going to get hate.
They can either take it seriously and impulsively react, or just let it not phase them. Reds’ Outfielder Jesse Winker got his fair share on Sunday during their game against the Mets but handled it in the best way ever.
(NSFW Warning) A Mets fan brought a sign that said “Jesse Winker you’re a straight up B****.” Winker decided to respond with a signed ball that said “Loved the sign. I’m collecting them this year. Thanks for coming out to the game. Glad fans are back.”
Way to kill them with kindness, Winker!
