Detroit fans were UPSET Monday after their team released its Reverse Retro jersey and understandably so. Detroit has a rich history of hockey and the jersey they came up with doesn't exactly scream that sentiment.
There were a lot of options and fans took it upon themselves to come up with some unique designs that would have been at the very least a little more interesting.
One fan in particular, Reddit User CityofCold, decided to change Detroit's entire logo and replace it with an animal that is synonymous with the Detroit franchise.
Maybe the lavender is a little crazy for some fans, but it would be something different and we love when teams try something different. To be fair to the Red Wings, they have tried some different things over the course of their history and it seems like there were better choices for which jersey they could have picked to be part of this series.
