The Winnipeg Jets opened their 2018-19 NHL regular season in a very impressive way as they crushed the St. Louis Blues 5-1 on the road.
Fans displayed their excitement for the start of the new season in many different ways, but the best pre-game message came courtesy of RCMP Manitoba, who shared this tweet earlier in the afternoon on Thursday.
There were definitely some mixed reactions to the tweet from Jets fans, but the ones who disliked it probably liked it a little better after the Jets opened the season in a very good way.
