Here at BarDown we’re big fans of whenever teams collaborate with other teams and switch up their jerseys for the night, even if it is just for the pre-game warm-ups.
This weekend the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, will host the Amarillo Sod Poodles, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, and they’re going to hold a Dallas Stars Night during their four-game series.
Since it’s a special theme night, it means the home team will be rocking special themed uniforms to match.
The auction is already open online, so fans have a chance to take home one of the jerseys off the players’ backs from that night with the proceeds going towards the Dallas Stars Foundation, but the first 1,500 fans will also receive a replica version of the special Stars-themed RoughRiders jerseys.
They haven’t released any photos of caps just yet, but we hope they have some Stars-themed ones to go with the uniforms.
