Friday night, TSN's Mark Masters went viral for an unfortunate reason, he got called out by Leafs head coach Mike Babcock for wearing unpolished dress shoes and Babcock made sure the hockey world saw Mark's shoes.

Mark has since shined his shoes and on Monday, former Leafs head coach (and current bench boss for the Ducks) Randy Carlyle took notice of the shiny shoes.

The fact that it was "national news" as Carlyle said is hilarious in itself.  It was nice to see Mark respond to some adversity, though.  As any athlete knows, when you make a mistake and get called out by a coach, you correct it and Masters did just that.

You can see Mark and his shiny shoes on TSN4 Monday night when the Ducks take on the Leafs.
