The race for the NL West crown is the best race in baseball right now in our opinion as the Rockies, Diamondbacks, Dodgers, and Giants are all fighting for the top spot.
San Francisco is the furthest back in the race, but they had a chance to make up some ground as they faced Los Angeles.
At this point in the season, every game is like a playoff game for teams still in the race for a playoff spot and Tuesday night in the 7th inning, we were treated to that playoff intensity as things got heated between Yasiel Puig and Nick Hundley.
It took a whole lot of Dodgers players and coaches to hold Puig back, but eventually they did and the brawl subsided.
While we're not sure what Hundley said to spark Puig, we do know there was no California love in Los Angeles and that fact will hold true again Wednesday night as the Giants go for the sweep.
