Spraying a goaltender with a face full of snow is one of the most disrespectful things one can do out on the ice without crossing the line.
Doing it on a penalty shot, and then scoring, and proceeding to skate away backwards while staring down the goaltender is on a whole other level.
Thanks to Instagram user ‘@tjmatuszewski,’ we have footage of one of the most greasiest hockey clips you’ll ever.
If you were the goalie, how would you feel about the ref ruling that a good goal, besides the anger of wanting to retaliate in some shape or form?
Is that puck really in a forward motion the whole time? It's hard to fully tell, but it looks like it went in a lateral direction after the snow shower. Regardless, should it really count because of the snow shower? How is the goalie supposed to track the puck while having a face full of snow?
To top it off, that staredown makes it even all the more infuriating if you're on the other team. You have to wonder how that player’s next shift went, because that would definitely piss off a few of that goaltender’s teammates. You know how hockey players operate. He should probably avoid going anywhere close to that ‘tendy’s crease, because he might be in line for a blocker sandwich.
