The city of Toronto was absolutely buzzing after the Raptors defeated the Warriors in Game 6 to capture the NBA championship, and perhaps nobody moreso than ‘Plant Guy,’ who blew up across the internet after declaring he had a housewarming plant to give Kawhi.
And that’s how the legend of the Kawactus got started. But where did Plant Guy find the Kawactus to begin with? Well, now we have our answer.
Unfortunately, the Kawactus never found its way to Kawhi himself; it was found the morning after the championship win abandoned on the streets of Toronto. It doesn’t look as if Plant Guy has brought a new Kawactus to the parade, either.
Still, we can dream, can’t we?
