The Montreal Canadiens just keep winning hockey games.
The Habs haven’t lost (they haven’t even trailed) in 7 games. Despite entering the playoffs with the lowest point total among qualifying teams, the Habs have tromped their way into the Stanley Cup semifinals. They’ve used a mixture of good goaltending and balanced offence to get the job done, and they’re having a ton of fun along the way.
One of the way Phillip Danault is having fun is apparently making pizza press conferences a new tradition. After eliminating the Toronto Maple Leafs, Danault showed up to the presser with a little snack.
On Monday, after eliminating the Jets, Danault brought the pizza back.
We’re starting to notice a pattern here, and we are absolutely here for it. Nothing tastes sweeter than pizza after a huge win.
