It’s a sports fan’s favourite time of year! With Opening Day getting underway, three of the major four North American sports are officially in action, and on top of that March Madness is sweeping the nation.
So much so that it’s making its way into other sports.
After the Philadelphia Phillies laid and 10-4 victory on the Atlanta Braves, the outfigeeld consisting of newcomers Andrew McCutchen and Bryce Harper, along with Odubel Herrera, got together to put together a March Madness themed celebration.
It wasn’t quite an adamant dunk, but probably for the better considering the net was being played by a guy that the Phillies just emptied the bank on. Let’s keep him healthy and happy…
This wasn’t the only cross-sport frontier March Madness has made this year. We also saw the Carolina Hurricanes dedicate one of their “Storm Surges” to the tournament.
With the Sweet 16 underway on TSN, we’re sure some more great moments will be coming out of March Madness. Apparently that’s not bounded to just basketball either…
