People differ in who they like or dislike when it comes to the sports world. It’s really to each their own when it comes to choosing a favourite team, a favourite player, or even a favourite sport. However, some pieces of the sports world are unconditionally loved by everyone. Case in point, everyone’s favourite oddball Phil “The Thrill” Kessel.
Kessel had a bit of a rough patch in his career when he was playing for a Toronto Maple Leafs team that never seemed to be able to quite put it together. As a result, Kessel packed his bags and headed to Pittsburgh in a blockbuster trade back in 2015. Since then, he has won two Stanley Cups as a complimentary piece to other Penguins’ superstars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
On Friday, Kessel was caught by cameras clearly thinking hard about something. It’s not really clear if he’s unhappy or in disbelief, but he’s definitely super conflicted. Here is what we believe he was thinking about…
Well everyone loves to see a happy Phil, he has definitely enjoyed his fair share of success over the past couple years already. He always seems to find a way to win his way into our hearts, no matter what mood he’s in. Of course his champion mood is obviously our favourite.
