Bryson DeChambeau is known for his insane drive strength, proving his golf skill by going on to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Monday, giving the fans quite a performance with a 370-yard drive at Bay Hill across an entire body of water that wowed every single person that witnessed it.
Well, it didn't last long...
The PGA Tour put a new rule in place at this week's Players Championship that would prevent DeChambeau from attempting the same kind of shot that blew everyone's mind.
DeChambeau shared a strategy that he wanted to try at this week's Players Championship - to attempt going left of the lake on 18, but after PGA Tour caught wind, they hastily made a new rule.
“In the interest of safety for spectators, volunteers and other personnel, the Players Championship Rules Committee has installed an internal out of bounds left of the lake for play of hole 18.”
This is what it looks like.
At least fans got to have a good chat while it lasted.
