Over the past few decades, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have gotten to know each other VERY well. The two legendary quarterbacks have been the main subjects of battle after battle on the gridiron, with Brady getting the upper hand for the most part.
While the two would likely have been considered the two best quarterbacks in the NFL during the lion’s share of their time, it was actually Peyton’s brother Eli who proved to be somewhat of a Kryptonite for Brady. Eli famously beat Brady in the Super Bowl not once, but twice, winning Super Bowl MVP both times.
The only other quarterback to beat Brady in the year’s biggest game was Philadelphia Eagles backup Nick Foles, who also won Super Bowl MVP. That was more than enough ammunition for practiced troll Peyton Manning to take a hilarious shot at Tom.
“That’s a cheap shot!”
If social distancing weren’t so important right now and Peyton was actually able to enlist the help of Eli or Nick Foles in a caddy capacity, that would have been an all-time troll job. We’ll settle for two soggy quarterbacks swinging clubs in the rain, though!
