Things didn’t look very good for the Carolina Hurricanes early on into Game 7, but they managed to bounce back from two different two-goal deficits to steal the win on the road and send the defending champions home early.
As soon as the puck went into the net every player on the Hurricanes’ bench made their way over the boards and rushed to celebrate with Brock McGinn and the rest of the guys on the ice. On his way to the celebration circle Petr Mrazek blew a tire, but recovered nicely to make it seem like that’s how he wanted to celebrate.
You’ve got to love that the moment Mrazek knew he was going down he turned the slip into a celebration.
It was also great to see Jordan Martinook celebrate with his goalie while Sebastian Aho left the circle to celebrate with his goalie.
