On Sunday, the Blackhawks and Coyotes shook up their rosters with a big trade that sent the third overall pick from the 2015 draft, Dylan Strome, and Brendan Perlini to Chicago for Nick Schmaltz.
Getting traded is never easy, especially if you're a highly-touted young player that has yet to prove himself in the league. Perlini and Strome are just 22 and 21-years-old (respectively) and they've got bright futures ahead to say the least.
A change of scenery can always be exciting for players, too, and Perlini shared this awesome photo of himself in a Blackhawks jersey with Santa Clause to help display his excitement for the move.
