It’s hard being under the microscope. When you’re a public figure, and media is constantly turning to you for information or opinion, it’s a lot of pressure to consistently deliver. Sooner or later, everyone is bound to slip up.
Just ask Paul Maurice.
The Winnipeg Jets coach who has never been afraid to speak his mind even surprised himself on Saturday when discussing Patrik Laine. It seems as though he was trying to discuss the young winger playing on the 1st line, unfortunately he landed on describing that line as the “A-Hole”. He immediately caught himself and then abruptly left the presser laughing.

Happens to the best of us, Paul. We’re sure he’ll just stick to “1st line” from now on!
