Patrik Laine’s beard became an iconic look in the 2017-18 NHL season. Now, his beard is gone, but he hasn’t shaved off all of his facial hair.
Laine posted a picture to his Instagram story showing his freshly shaved face, but you might notice a little hair remaining on his upper lip. That’s right, Laine’s beard may be gone, but it has been transformed into a brand new lip sweater.
What a summer look for the Finnish sniper.
Laine might be the most perfect definition of a hockey guy. He rocks whatever flow, facial hair or look he wants, totally owns it and then goes out and snipes 40. Next up we want to see him bring the same mentality to gear.
If he just starts trolling out there with a Dany Heatley visor, a jofa bucket, extra long gloves and a set of T-blades, no one will ever stop him. He’ll win MVP every year on his style alone.
Still, we’re going to miss the beard.
