Who's better, Matthews or Laine?
It's a question that has divided the hockey world and the question won't go away soon as the two youngsters are forever tied together by virtue of being the top-two picks in the 2016 draft.
When it comes to debates like this, everyone wants to know the opinion of one of the players involved and on Wednesday, we got that as Patrik Laine revealed who he thinks is better, him, Jack Eichel, or Matthews.
Were you actually expecting a different answer? In what world would any professional athlete as good as Laine openly admit he thinks the guy that was picked one spot ahead of him in the draft is better than him?
For those that are on team Matthews, there's no need to be salty, you can still think Matthews is better, but Laine is confident in his abilities and there's no reason he shouldn't be considering he has already scored 80 goals in 155 games.
Laine was playing Fortnite Wednesday on Barstool Gametime and also talked about his playoff beard.
