The Stanley Cup endured some damage during the Lightning’s boat parade and it looks like we now know who did it, and how the damage was done!
Spoiler alert! It was Pat Maroon, but everyone needs to cut the guy some slack because it was a complete accident. Yes, the players were boozed up but this one genuinely sounds like it was a complete fluke and honestly, we’re just happy Patty is doing okay after the incident.
Hey, mistakes happen, and it will be okay so no big deal! The Big Rig did do a number on it though…
We’re sure this will eventually just go down as one funny story in the trophy’s history one day. The celebration should be back on next week!
