Although it might be a little harder to imagine now, Reid had a playing career of his own through college and Mahomes dug up an old photo from the archives for his new profile photo on Twitter for the time being. It’s... it’s perfect.

Did you know that when he was 13 years old, Reid was already so much bigger than the other kids that he would wear jerseys sized for 6-foot adult men?

While Reid played on the O-line for a few schools, his claim to fame before coaching might just be his throwback appearance on Monday Night Football’s Punt, Pass and Kick competition, which lives rent-free in our heads. Again, this is a 13-year-old Andy Reid!
