When it comes to winning championships, some hockey players are just good at it. All the skill in the world doesn’t necessarily win you championships.

Apparently Patrick Maroon is one of those guys that just has the indescribable quality of winning, because he just went back-to-back while playing with two different teams. After capping off the 2018-19 season by hoisting the Cup in with St. Louis, he finished the 2019-20 campaign lifting it as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Maroon, being the likeable grinder he is, garnered all kinds of great reaction as a result. It’s hard not to feel happy for the guy.
