The Hockey Hall of Fame announced the class of 2020 on Wednesday afternoon and it was headlined by Calgary Flames all-time scoring leader Jarome Iginla.
Just about every hockey fan expected Iggy’s name to be on this year’s list, and the first-ballot Hall of Fame received some congratulatory messages from some past and present Flames players and teammates of the two-time Rocket Richard Trophy winner.
Teammate or rival, it’s nearly impossible to find a past or present player who has something bad to say about Jarome Iginla. In 1,554 games in 20 seasons, Iginla scored 625 goals and 1,300 points.
