The World Juniors is a fantastic tournament for a number of reasons, but one of the top reasons is the ability to see some of the world’s most talented teenagers and young men showcase their skills on the international stage.

It’s a time for fans to scout out prospects in their favourite NHL team’s pipeline, or to gather information on those becoming Draft eligible in the future.

On Team Canada, there are a number of NHL prospects and shining draft desires. One player that fans are excited to watch play in Buffalo Sabres 2021 1st overall pick Owen Power. It didn’t take him long to show the world what he’s got.

 

 

 

With his 3rd tally of the night, Power became the 1st Canadian defenceman to score a hat trick at the World Juniors.

 

 

The little piece of history had Canadians (and Sabres fans) HYPED for the young blueliner.
