We don’t know for sure that Alex Ovechkin is the happiest man in the world right now, but we’re pretty sure that Alex Ovechkin is the happiest man in the world right now.
Ovi finally got the monkey off his back (twice in one playoffs if you include beating the Penguins on the way to his first ring), and there’s nobody that operates with quite as much passion and emotion than the Great 8. Following the emotional victory, Ovechkin went live in the team’s dressing room to give his fans a glimpse of what proved to be quite the celebration.
Not bad for a bunch of guys formally known as the chokers. Overall, it seems like the hockey world is pretty happy with the whole idea of Ovi winning a cup.
