Ovi confirms that he's hockey royalty with this epic Instagram post

After one of the most legendary summers in hockey history, there’s no contesting that Alexander Ovechkin is the current King of Hockey.

Ovi, however, got a crown anyways.

In this awesome ad for World of Warships, the Great Eight is rocking his signature number in the form of impressive bling around his neck, adorned with what seems to be Chanel logos.

Definite style points.

The look is completed with a sweet but intimidating hockey stick-style sword, armour complete with lions on the shoulders, and a blinged-out crown.

If all goes according to plan for Ovi, he’ll be reunited with his beloved cup for a second summer in a row. So far, so good, as the Conn Smythe winner is off to a hot start, with 8 goals and 6 assists in 10 games played this season.

It’s a great start for sure, but we think that if he decided to use the sword featured in this photo on the ice, defensemen would be even less likely to come near him.
