Alexander Ovechkin might be the most well-liked hockey player in the world right now.
It's hard not to be happy for someone after you see them accomplish something they've worked so hard for and Ovechkin may be the happiest person we've ever seen win the Cup. That smile isn't coming off his face anytime soon and he hopes it will be the same for Capitals fans.
He had an absolutely legendary quote for the fanbase that has supported him all these years. To put it simply, he said it's time to "Get some beers".
Ovechkin definitely took his own advice shortly after this quote.
While it may not have been beer, there was clearly a lot of alcohol going around in the Caps locker room. The only difference is, there was not much drinking and a lot more spraying alcohol on each other.
After winning the cup in Vegas, we’re sure many more beers were had late into the night.
