Some of the greatest names to ever play basketball have suited up in the iconic Los Angeles Lakers purple and gold. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, Shaquille O’Neal, Magic Johnson, and, of course, Kobe Bryant. These are just a few of the long list of Lakers legends, and now you can add another.
LeBron James is headed to Cali.
One of, if not the greatest basketball players of all time (cue Michael Jordan fans responding) is now a Los Angeles Laker. The news that shook the world was met with grace by Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, who took the news as an opportunity to welcome LeBron James to the Lakers family.
Nothing like getting welcomed by a legend like Kobe. Of course, he wasn’t the only one. Lonzo Ball also made sure to welcome his newest teammate to the city of angels.
