The Oklahoma Sooners have a tradition after scoring touchdowns at home, when the horses wheel out the Sooner Schooner for a quick lap around the field. Usually, it’s a neat little TD celebration.
Not this time. The horses got a little too fast, a little too furious, and the wagon went flying along with its occupants. They hit the apex too hard!
Boomer Schooner? Fortunately, everyone is okay after that brief scare.
This has actually happened before in 1993, in a moment delightfully remembered as the Sooner Schooner Mooner.
