The tradition of bringing signs to sporting events is one that has become quite fun over the years because people will literally write anything on a sign to get noticed.
Thanks to social media, no sign goes unnoticed, but as we've seen in the past, that can actually be a bad thing.
Tuesday night in Columbus, for example, this Oilers fan's sign kind of backfired and this fan is probably feeling the effects of the sign Wednesday.
The Oilers won 7-2 and scored four goals in the second period, so that fan probably had a rough second period to say the least.
A lot of people may have stopped after the fourth or fifth beer, but according to a fan that was sitting nearby, this Oilers fan followed through.
Although the Oilers have struggled at times this season, one thing is for sure, they have a ton of offensive skill and can score a lot of goals.
