Odell Beckham Jr. is heading into the final year of his contract with the New York Giants and a lot of football fans are convinced that he’ll be rocking a different team’s threads in a new city next year.
On Friday night, OBJ was a special guest at the Los Angeles Angels and Tampa Bay Rays game in Anaheim, only he wasn’t there to support the home team as he was rocking a Blake Snell throwback Tampa Bay Devil Rays jersey.
Since he was there as a special guest of the Rays, he got to take part in batting practice with the team before the game and he showed off some serious power behind the plate.
Due to the angle it looks like Beckham smacks a hard hit ball into the outfield, but thanks to this alternate angle from MLB it shows that he clearly went yard and knocked the ball all the way to the rocks over the wall.
The Giants wide receiver has a pretty bright professional football career ahead of him, but maybe he’ll start thinking about being a professional baseball player as a backup plan.
